Furniture that bears the sign of its mastermind
“Craft is inherently local; it's shaped by place, by tradition, and by the fact that every pair of hands produces something no other pair could." Studio Brocky's designs pair the fantastical silhouettes of the Space Age era with the rawness and character of Britain's industrial heritage, with all pieces proudly manufactured in Britain.

A furniture debut tuned to music culture
Studio Brocky’s debut collection found the right kind of room at New Forms in Chelsea, a record store and café by day, listening room and bar by night. Shown during London Craft Week, the eight-piece line drew from 1960s British pop culture, with musical references built into the objects themselves, from a wall lamp etched like a pressed record to a table light shaped after vintage audio equipment.”

Debut Collection TranslatES 1960s Nostalgia into Heirloom Quality Furniture
"The things I was most drawn to growing up all seemed to exist in the same moment; the boldness of mod fashion, the theatricality of glam rock, the ambition of the Space Age, they all share a kind of cultural courage."
"We are living through a period of enormous disposability. I'm interested in the opposite – objects that accumulate meaning over time, that people live with long enough for them to matter."

SEATING WITH REAL SWAGGER
The debut collection takes cues from 1960s silhouettes - the curves of a guitar, the swagger of glam rock, Mod fashion - filtered through a contemporary lens, says Max Brockbank, founder of new furniture house Studio Brocky. The 'Vanguard' lounge chair features velvet upholstery and has a relaxed tilt due to its tubular base. Like all of Studio Brocky's pieces, the chair was designed in London and crafted by makers around the UK.
